Check-in Requirements

Check-in
Check-in is available from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Late arrivals (after 8:00 PM) must be arranged in advance by calling +61 472 506 174.

Identification & Deposit
A valid passport or driver’s licence is required at check-in. Guests without acceptable ID will not be checked in and the booking may be cancelled.
A $50 key deposit per person (cash or card) is required. This is held for the duration of your stay and refunded at check-out, provided all items are returned and the room is left in good condition.

Additional Information

  • An international passport is required for all guests.
  • The accommodation is located on Level 1 and is accessible by stairs only (no lift).
  • Any outstanding balance must be paid at least one day prior to arrival.

Age Limits

All guest must be 18 years or older. Children are only permitted in Private Rooms accompanied by there parents or supervisors.

Dorm Rooms

Dorm beds are only available for guests between the age of 18 and 45. Guests above 45 are welcome to book one of our private rooms.

Alcohol

Alcohol may not be kept or stored in guest rooms but is welcome in our common areas — please be mindful of fellow guests.

Smoking & Vaping

Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere on the property.

T&C

1. CONFIRMATION AND PAYMENTS

1.1 When requesting Bookings, Guests will be required to provide identification information including, but not limited to, their name, address, contact telephone number, email address and valid credit card details.

1.2 The Charges will be as quoted by the Hostel to the Customer upon the Customer’s request for a Booking. Payment of outstanding balance is required one day in advance prior to arrival.

1.3 When booking multiple beds in a shared room, the Hostel will make a genuine attempt to put people on the same booking in the same room, however this cannot be guaranteed, we will endeavour to do our best.

2. ARRIVAL & STAYING

2.1 The reception is open as follows:
– Monday: Closed 
– Tuesday to Saturday:11am to 8pm
– Sunday: 11am to 2pm 

2.2 Valid photo identification in the form of Passport (which may be scanned) is required at check-in. All guests must have a VALID DRIVERS LICENCE OR PASSPORT at the time of check-in. If you do not have these your booking will be cancelled and you will not be allowed to check in. We require a key deposit of $50 (cash or card) PER person for the stay and a copy of photo ID (which can be a valid drivers licence, key pass or passport). The deposit will stay with us for the duration of your stay and refunded when guests leave the facility in good condition.
Please note accommodation is on level 1 and is accessed via stairs.

2.3 The Hostel does not accept bookings made by those under the age of 18 or over the age of 45. Any persons under 18 cannot stay in any shared rooms with other guests that are not part of the family or group, however they can stay in private rooms when accompanied by an adult over 18 years. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in automatic cancellation with no refund given.

2.4 Check in between 13:00-20:00 (If you with wish you check in after 20:00, you MUST call to organise prior to booking).

2.5 Check out at 11:00am. Later check-out times may be possible by prior arrangement with an additional charge and subject to availability. (In the absence of such prior arrangement, failure to check-out by 11:00am may result in Guests losing the damage deposit.

2.6 A $50 damage deposit will be taken from each guest at check-in. The $50 deposit will be returned to the guest upon satisfactory check-out by the Guest.

3. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

3.1 If you have booked a room through the use of a travel agency or an online travel agency, you must cancel your booking through the agency that you used to make the booking.

3.2 The Customer may cancel the Booking without charge if notice is given to the Hostel at least 1 days prior to 12pm (local time) on the arrival date. In which case the Hostel will refund to the Customer all sums paid by the Customer in advance.

3.3 Where the Customer fails to give sufficient notice of cancellation or fails to arrive (no show) at the Hostel, the entire Booking will be deemed cancelled and the customer will be charged for the entire stay.

Refundable Rate

Your booking will be refunded in full if you cancel more than 1 days prior to arrival date. If you cancel within the 1 days, you will be charged for the first night’s stay.

If you cancel with less than 1 day notice or do not check in at the hostel, you will be charged your entire stay.

Non Refundable Rate

Your hostel booking will not be refunded if you cancel or change the booking, or don’t check-in.

3.4 The Hostel may at any time cancel a Booking if the Hostel becomes unavailable due to circumstances outside the Hostel’s control in which case the Hostel will pay the Customer a full refund of any booking fee paid.

3.5 The Hostel may cancel the Booking if the payment details provided by the Customer are invalid or insufficient. The Hostel will make all reasonable attempts to contact the Customer for alternative valid details.

4. HOSTEL RULES

4.1 Guests are required to conduct themselves in a reasonable and responsible manner and treat other guests with respect at all times at the Hostel and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. The Hostel will not accept the following behaviour:

– sexual, racial or religious harassment,

– excessive noise, consumption of alcohol or under the influence of illegal substances,

– disruptive/aggressive behaviour,

– poor personal hygiene likely to cause offense,

– filming/photograph of any persons at the Hostel without consent,

– guests allowing unauthorised persons to access/stay guest only areas of the Hostel,

– any illegal activities including and not limited to sale/use of illegal substances, physical assault, theft, damage to the Hostel etc,

Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in Guests being asked to leave the Hostel in which event any additional charges shall become immediately payable by the Guest.

4.2 Smoking and vaping is not permitted at any time inside the Hostel.

4.3 Guests will be responsible for any loss or damage caused at the Hostel by Guests or visitor of the Guest. The Guest may be liable for the Hostel’s reasonable cost of repairing, cleaning or replacing any property of the Hostel which is damaged, soiled or lost by a Guest.

4.4 No animals are allowed in the Hostel with the exception of guide dogs.

4.5 Tampering with any fire protection device in or around the property including but not limited to fire detectors, fire sprinklers, fire hoses, extinguishers & fire doors will result in fines and/or damages. The use of any device to prevent guest room doors from closing are prohibited.

4.6 Guests responsible for fire alarm activation will be responsible for the fines applied by the local Fire Department, unless an actual fire emergency has occurred. Note, these alarms can be set off by things such as but not limited to hair dryers, hair straighteners, aerosol cans, steam from showers and tampering of alarms.

5. FOOD AND DRINK

5.1 Unless otherwise agreed by the Hostel, the Charges do not include any food or drink.

5.2 Guests may not consume or store food and drinks (other than water or items place by the hostel within the room) in their rooms. Alcohol may not be consumed in any room at any time.
